Cardinals Break Into ITA National Rankings

Louisville is 10-3 with a pair of ACC wins
The University of Louisville women's tennis team has earned its first appearance of the season in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Rankings.
The Cardinals enter the poll ranked at No. 49. UofL is 10-3 on the season with a pair of ACC wins under its belt. The Cardinals most recent ACC victory came last Sunday when they pulled a 4-3 win out over Clemson.
Louisville is led by No. 114-ranked Nikolina Jovic, who has an 11-2 record in singles. Cardinal Raven Neely has been a stalwart teammate, who has posted a 12-1 mark,
In doubles, senior Aleksandra Mally and newcomer Diana Wong have been taking care of business as a partnership with a 4-1 record in dual matches.Â
UofL hits the road to face NC State on March 1 at noon and then heads to Chapel Hill to face the Tar Heels of North Carolina on March 3 at 1 p.m.
