Louisville downs UTC in singles finale
The University of Louisville women's tennis team finished the Louisville Tennis Classic on a strong note with a 5-1 win over UT-Chattanooga Sunday afternoon at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

The Cardinals ran through the UTC lineup, winning all but one match led by Nikolina Jovic's win at No. 1 over Bogdana Zoporozhets 6-2, 6-2. Rhea Verma picked up a win at No. 2 with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Caroline Gibbens and Maia Haumuller cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 win over Lilly Holmes. Diana Wong and Dina Chaika won at No. 5 and No. 6 for the final two points.
