Women's Soccer Inks Seven Standouts to 2020 Class

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes announced the 2020 women's soccer recruiting class on Thursday afternoon. The 2020 class consists of seven high school standouts.

This year's class boasts seven very versatile players joining the Cardinals in the fall of 2020. Louisville adds two forwards, and three attacking midfielders, one defending midfielder and one defender.

The women's soccer class of 2020:

Morgan Bentley
Defending Midfielder | 5-5
Hometown: Atlanta, Georgia

Named team captain as a senior...Led her team to Class 7A State Championship Final Four appearance in 2018 and 2019...Guided Brookwood to top-8 state appearance in 2018...Named to 7A Gwinnett All-County team in 2018 and 2019...Three-time Most Valuable Athlete in track & field...Earned gold in the triple jump and bronze in the long jump at the 7A State Championships in 2019...Named to 7A All-Regional Track & Field team from 2017-19...Was the Gwinnett 7A County champion in long jump and triple jump during junior season...Named to All-Metro Atlanta Track & Field team in 2019...USATF All-American honoree in triple jump as a sophomore.

Jessica Camken
Forward | 5-9

Played for Cypress Bay during her freshman year...Named to the Miami Herald First Team All-County and Sun Sentinel All-Broward 4-5A First Team in 2017...Led her team to an overall record of 17-2-1...Team won district finals in 2017 and advanced to the regional finals.

Club Coach Luis Torres on Jessica Camken - "Jess is perhaps one of the most dynamic and hardest working players I have ever coached. Her work ethic, speed, skill, positive attitude and willingness to sacrifice for the team, make her a true leader by example. Club Coach Doug Bracken on Caitlin Elam – "Caitlin is a tremendous athlete who possesses the speed and quickness to compete in such a demanding conference as the ACC. She has great work ethic that has allowed her to consistently improve in her leadership and decision making on the field. I have no doubt that she will have a great career at Louisville."

Club Coach Chris King on Riley Mulladay - "Riley Mullady is a fantastic soccer player and an even better person. She's one of our most versatile players , capable of playing in all three lines with a high level of success. She's very mature, which allows her to be an effective team leader. Riley's got a bright future and we will miss her on and off the field.

Head Coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes on Emma Hiscock – "Riley is a versatile player who will play in both midfield and as a forward. She has an intuitive feel for the game, great vision and has the ability to play a bigger ball with both feet. She has played for a great club coach and I know she will be prepared for the demands at the college level."

Holly Stalls

High School Coach Gareth Munro on Holly Stalls - "Holly will graduate from Collierville High School to continue her soccer career at Louisville. Her immense skill set has given her the ability to play as an attacking midfielder, sweeper or center forward where she thrives the most. She has great speed, power and ability to beat her opponents. Her strongest assets are her determination and will to win, coupled with the fact that she is a down to earth, polite and caring teammate, you can understand why Holly would be a top addition to any team. Holly has proven to be one of our strongest and most consistent performers during my time as the Head Coach at Collierville High School. On the field, she has always displayed to myself and her teammates why she is one of our most valuable players, with her ability to play in multiple positions and thrive in them all. Players with talents like Holly's don't come along often and she will leave a massive void to be filled in our program next year and while I am sad that our time as player and coach has come to an end, I am proud that she gets to continue her career as a Cardinal at the University of Louisville."

Smooth and capable on the ball, hard working, versatile, and doesn't have an ego that needs to be stroked by racking up stats, although she is quite capable of getting them.
