Cardinals Return to Campus, Begin Preseason Training

Players participated in photo/video car wash on Monday and meetings on Tuesday before opening training Wednesday
The Cardinals conducted their first preseason training on Wednesday morning before returning to the field for a second session in the evening. Louisville players met for the first time this week on Monday morning at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium. The initial meeting was followed by the annual photo/video car wash. As members of the team assisted in the production of content for the 2018 season, the car wash included stops at three different photo stations and four video stations.
Tuesday's schedule for the Cardinals included meetings with academic services, members of the compliance department, sports information and equipment distribution. Later in the evening, the players participated in a team dinner hosted by head coach Ken Lolla and his family.
The team will continue its training schedule ahead of the first of two exhibition matchs on Wednesday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m., ET against Indiana at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana. The Cardinals will play their only home exhibition contest on Saturday, Aug. 18 at 5 p.m., against Evansville at Lynn Stadium. Louisville's regular season opener is set for Friday, Aug. 24 at 7:30 p.m., at Lynn Stadium against St. Bonaventure.Â

Season tickets and single match tickets for the 2018 University of Louisville soccer season are on sale now through the Louisville Cardinals Ticket Office. The 2018 Louisville soccer tickets can be purchased online at GoCards.com/soccertickets.
Single match tickets are priced at $12 per ticket for reserved chairback seats, $6 per ticket for general admission/berm seats and $4 per ticket for groups of 10 or more. Reserved chairback tickets are priced at $100 for adults, $320 for the Family Four Pack and $80 for faculty/staff. General admission/berm seating is priced at $50 for adults, $200 for the Family Four Pack and $50 for faculty/staff.
