LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The sixth-ranked University of Louisville men's soccer team hosted its annual media activities on Monday afternoon at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium.
Head coach Ken Lolla and captains Liam Bennett, Cody Cochran and Tate Schmitt talked with reporters in advance of Friday's season-opener against St. Bonaventure, which is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m., ET at Lynn Stadium. Monday's schedule began with a morning training session at Cardinal Park and was followed by the news conference.Â
Under the guidance of Lolla, who is in his 13th season at the helm at Louisville, the Cardinals enter their fifth season in the ACC paced by the return of Schmitt, a 2017 All-ACC performer. Louisville's 2018 squad returns six starters from last year's team, which finished second in the ACC Atlantic, advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Championship for the fifth time in eight seasons and ended the year ranked No. 7 in the nation.
Ranked No. 6 in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll, the Cardinals will open the season with a trio of home matches at Lynn Stadium as they will follow Friday's contest with a home game against Georgia State on Aug. 28 (7:30 p.m.), before concluding the homestand against Saint Louis on Aug. 31 (7:30 p.m.). All 10 regular season matches at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium this season will be televised on ACC Network Extra, available on WatchESPN.

Men's soccer single match tickets are priced at $12 per ticket for reserved chairback seats, $6 per ticket for general admission/berm seats and $4 per ticket for groups of 10 or more. Reserved chairback season tickets are priced at $100 for adults, $320 for the Family Four Pack and $80 for faculty/staff. General admission/berm seating for season tickets are priced at $50 for adults, $200 for the Family Four Pack and $50 for faculty/staff.
