Free clinic celebrates gifts of participants with special needs while promoting physical, mental and social development through soccer
The free clinic celebrated the gifts of participants with special needs while promoting physical, mental and social development through the vehicle of soccer and proved to be another fun event with endless smiles and joy for all involved. The event is named for and inspired by JT, a special young man, an avid soccer camp participant and the nephew of Coach Lolla.
"We started eight years ago with JT & Friends where we gather not only our team, but the community, to offer an opportunity for the kids to participate in soccer," Lolla said. "In that participation, whatever level they are at, we celebrate their success and in doing so, not only do we give them an opportunity to experience soccer, but it also gives our kids an opportunity to feed into them, to sow some seeds and give back to the community."
The clinic was directed by the Louisville men's soccer coaching staff along with players from the team and more than 100 volunteers. The clinic included the teaching of fundamentals and drills but also expanded to creative activities tailored to the participants. A highlight for participants was traveling down the "celebration tunnel" and having their name announced over the PA system by guest emcee Howie Lindsey.

2018 LOUISVILLE SOCCER TICKETS
Season tickets and single match tickets for the 2018 University of Louisville soccer season are on sale now through the Louisville Cardinals Ticket Office. The 2018 Louisville soccer tickets can be purchased online at GoCards.com/soccertickets.
Single match tickets are priced at $12 per ticket for reserved chairback seats, $6 per ticket for general admission/berm seats and $4 per ticket for groups of 10 or more. Reserved chairback tickets are priced at $100 for adults, $320 for the Family Four Pack and $80 for faculty/staff. General admission/berm seating is priced at $50 for adults, $200 for the Family Four Pack and $50 for faculty/staff.
