El-Fitouri, Schmitt score goals as the Cardinals drop narrow road decision
Rising senior Tate Schmitt and rising sophomore Hamam El-Fitouri each scored goals for the Cardinals, who faced their second Major League Soccer foe of the spring. Louisville opened its five-match spring slate with a road loss to the Chicago Fire on March 26.
"This was another good experience for us playing against an MLS team," said Cardinals head coach Ken Lolla. "It was a game we can certainly build on for the fall."
Louisville will now turn its focus to the summer preparations for the 2018 fall season. The Cardinals are expected to release the 2018 schedule next month.
