Cards will wrap up the regular season Friday at Virginia Tech
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – In its final match of the regular season, the University of Louisville men's tennis team will head to Blacksburg, Va. for a matchup against Virginia Tech. The No. 41 Cardinals will square off against the No. 37 Hokies on Friday at 11 a.m.
"Every time I come to Blacksburg, I remember the many 4-3 matches we've played there," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "It started with Oliver Cantrell's heroics when he suffered leg and arm cramps to clinch one in 2001. There is a lot of respect among past teams and with head coach Jim Thompson (20th season) and me. This match is the final chance to help your ACC Tournament seeding."
