Louisville Adds Incoming Freshman in Lucas Bazin

LOUISVILLE, Ky.- University of Louisville men's tennis head coach Rodrigo da Silva announces the signing of Lucas Bazin who will join the team in the fall for the 2026-27 season.Â
The Annecy, France native has spent his youth career competing primarily on the ITF Junior and ITF Men's World Tennis Tour.Â
Bazin reached a career-high ITF Junior ranking of No. 931 in January 2025 and has competed in numerous ITF junior tournaments throughout France.Â
During the 2025 season, the signee picked up one of his most notable wins, advancing to the quarterfinals of the J60 Blagnac ITF Junior tournament. He also has made appearances in entry-level professional tournaments such as the M15 Cap d'Agd in both 2024 and 2025.Â
