
Women's Lacrosse Hosts No. 3 Boston College on Saturday

The Cardinals and Eagles will square off at noon.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville women's lacrosse (6-3, 0-2) returns to Atlantic Coast Conference play when they host No. 3 Boston College on Saturday afternoon at 12 p.m. ET.
The Cardinals are 6-3 overall, but are seeking their first conference win of the year.
On Wednesday, Louisville trailed 7-1 at Mercer before reeling off 14 straight goals en route to a 21-14 win.

Tessa Chad led the way for the Cards as she finished with a team-high six goals, all of which came in the first half. She ranks second on the team with 26 goals.

Caroline Blalock had four goals and three assists in the win over Mercer. She leads the team with 27 goals, nine assists, 22 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers.

Boston College (9-0, 1-0) enters Saturday's game undefeated and ranked No. 3 in the country. They have four wins over top 20 teams with wins at No. 15 Notre Dame, 13-11, vs. No. 19 Massachusetts, 16-9, vs. No. 11 Navy, 20-14, and at No. 12 Southern Cal, 13-12.
They are led by Sam Apuzzo, who has 43 goals and 16 assists.
