"It was a tale of two teams. We showed some of our weaknesses against Denver. I thought we made a lot of plays, but we didn't follow it up with something positive," said head coach Scott Teeter.
Â
Denver scored the first goal of the game on the opening draw within the first two minutes of the half. Ally Hall then issued the Cards' first goal to even the game after a series of turnovers, making that her second goal of the season.
