
Women's Lacrosse Hosts Denver on Saturday Afternoon

The Cardinals look to move to 3-0 for the fourth consecutive season.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville women's lacrosse welcomes in Denver on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. ET.
The Cardinals have opened the Scott Teeter era with wins in their first two games and look to move to 3-0 for the fourth consecutive season.
Last Sunday, Louisville won 16-8 in their home opener against Marquette.
Tessa Chad led the way in the win as she finished with five goals and four groundballs. In two games, she has a team-leading nine goals on just 14 shot attempts, good for a .643 shot percentage.
Jillian Balog and Caroline Blalock have five goals each for the Cards. Emily Howell leads the defense with 10 groundballs and seven caused turnovers.
