Cardinals earn five race wins over Hoosiers and Jayhawks; Louisville adds two wins over No. 14 Iowa
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The No. 20 Louisville rowing team earned five race wins and a team scoring victory over No. 16 Indiana and Kansas while also adding a pair of races wins against No. 14 Iowa during Saturday's double dual event on Lake Lemon.
"I am very proud of how the team came out of the gates. Then, they did a great job with the lineup changes we had to make in the top two eights after an injury occurred," said Louisville head coach Derek Copeland. "They just went out in their new lineups and did their best against a speedy Iowa group. That resilience is important if we want to become a perennial NCAA team."
