SUMMER YOUTH SKILLS CAMPS
The Youth Skills Camp is designed for boys ages 6-13, to develop fundamental techniques of soccer in a fun and positive learning environment. The camp is coached by players and staff of the University of Louisville men's soccer team. Campers will have the opportunity to develop a relationship with their coaches and interact directly with the team.
Skill Development is a major focus of the curriculum; teaching the proper techniques of the game in small groups according to age and ability. Â Campers learn the basic principles of soccer in stations and then apply the skills in small sided games. The camp will be hosted at the state-of-the-art Lynn Stadium and Cardinal Park, allowing campers to play where the Cardinals play, at one of the premier soccer stadiums in NCAA athletics.Â
The highlight of camp is the 3 vs 3 tournament that our campers get to compete in. The tournament is a bracketed, round robin style format that provides our campers the opportunity to showcase the skills they learned at camp and compete in a fun filled atmosphere. The tournament's final match will be played at Lynn Stadium in front of the full camp and streamed on the big screen!
In addition to skill development, campers will here Coach Lolla's four-part lecture on youth development based on his book "Passing It On: A Coaching Philosophy for Youth Soccer". The book stresses the importance of the four E's (Envision, Enjoy, Encourage, and Empower) and how they can change your life. The camp will also feature Principles of the Day, which are taught each morning at the beginning of camp and feature the CARDS values of Caring, Attitude, Respect, Discipline and Service.
To teach campers the value of serving others and their community, the camp will host a week long canned food drive to help those in need within the community. Each camp strives to collect 500 cans to feed the needy, and all donations go to the Lord's Kitchen Organization.

SUMMER ID AND HIGH SCHOOL TEAM CAMPS
The Summer ID and HS Team Camps are each a four-day overnight experience for male athletes 13-18 years old. Â The camps are designed for athletes with the ambition to play at the collegiate level and learn more about the recruiting process. Each camp provides a highly competitive player pool and training environment. Players will experience technical and tactical field sessions, as well as classroom seminars on mental toughness, personal development, and principles of success.Â
The Staff consists of coaches from the University of Louisville as well as a select group of colleges from across the country in Division I, II, III, and NAIA. Â Located on the University of Louisville campus, players have the opportunity to tour the campus and compete in state-of-the-art facilities such as Lynn Stadium and Cardinal Park.
Coach Ken Lolla teaches principals of success and life skills to campers throughout the week with an emphasis on personal development. Daily seminars feature topics such as leadership, mental toughness and how to be a great teammate. On the last night, campers are taught the power of goal setting and provided the opportunity to identify and write down their goals both on and off the field for the upcoming season.
Testimonials are received from campers annually describing how their experience at camp impacted their lives and served as a catalyst for the accomplishment of their hopes and dreams. Campers compete against top talent from across the country and abroad. The camp features players from the USDA Academy, USYS, and Regional and National ODP organizations.
