Winter ID Camp designed for male athletes 13-18 years of age
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -Â Head coach Ken Lolla and the University of Louisville men's soccer program have released details for the upcoming Winter ID camp. The camp is scheduled for Feb. 3-4 and will be hosted on the state-of-the-art turf field at the UofL Lacrosse Stadium.
"Our Winter ID Camp provides an opportunity for personal growth both on the soccer field and in the game of life," said Lolla.Â
The Winter ID Camp is designed for male athletes, ages 13-18 and is open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and gender. Â Designed for players with the ambition to play at the collegiate level, the camp provides a highly competitive player pool and training environment. Featuring top talent from across the country and abroad, players attend from the USDA Academy, USYSA, and Regional and National ODP organizations.
The staff consists of coaches from the University of Louisville as well as a select group of colleges from across the country in Division I, II, III, and NAIA. Players will experience technical and tactical field sessions as well as 11 V 11 matches.
The campers will attend a lunch prepared by the team nutritionist at the Thornton's Academic Center of Excellence. After the lunch, campers experience Coach Lolla's trademark seminar on navigating the college recruiting process, personal development and goal setting.Â
"Our mission is to pass on principles of success and help others reach their potential," continued Lolla. "Our promise is to invest in each participant as if they were a member of the UofL soccer program and the Cardinals Family."
