
Louisville Releases 2017 Baseball Radio Schedule

93.9 The Ville returns as flagship station for the third straight season
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The 2017 radio schedule for the University of Louisville baseball team was released Wednesday morning, highlighted by the return of 93.9 The Ville as flagship station for the third consecutive season.
Radio coverage will be provided for most regular season games as well as all postseason games for the Cardinals during the 2017 season with most of those airing on 93.9 The Ville. Selected games within the regular season will be broadcast on 1450 WXVW.
ESPN Louisville, the group behind local stations ESPN 680 and 105.7 FM, launched 93.9 The Ville, powered by ESPN, on Jan. 29, 2015. The station provides coverage of the Cardinals through an official partnership with Louisville Sports Properties, which represents U of L athletics.
After winning its second straight ACC Atlantic Division championship and advancing to a fourth consecutive NCAA Super Regional in 2016, the Louisville baseball team enters 2017 ranked in the top 12 in four preseason polls, including No. 6 in the Perfect Game Top 25. With Sean Moth calling the action again this season, the radio schedule includes road games at NC State, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame and Clemson as well as home games against Pittsburgh, Boston College, Wake Forest, Duke and Florida State.
The No. 6 Cardinals will open the 2017 season on 1450 WXVW on Friday, Feb. 17 at 3 p.m., ET against Alabama State in the first of three weekend games in Clearwater, Florida at Spectrum Field, spring training home of the Philadelphia Phillies. Louisville will also play No. 22 Maryland on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m., and Ball State on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 1 p.m., with both of those games slated for radio coverage on 93.9 The Ville.
