Women's Tennis Completes Final Day of Mizzou Invitational

Cards win six matches.
The University of Louisville women's tennis team recorded six wins in the final day of competition at the Mizzou Invitational.Â
The Cardinals won two of  three doubles matches against Memphis and then notched four singles wins against  Missouri.Â
"We had a solid day to finish off a good weekend. We won two out of the three doubles and four of seven singles matches against Missouri," said UofL head coach Mark Beckham. "Abbie Pahz had a great day winning both her singles anddoubles. Her singles win was against Missouri's No. 36-ranked Bea Machado Santos. Also Mariana Humberg had a great day as well, fighting back from a set and 4-1 down to come back and get the win. So overall, I am pleased with how we played our in our first weekend of competition."Â

The Mizzou Invite has no dual format, but rather individual singles players and doubles pairings will match up with opponents from each program. Â
