Hi Cardinals Fans! This is Gabbie Wiley and it is my turn on the Volleyblog.
As some of you may know, last night we just went with it and moved our Black and Red Scrimmage to our practice facility after the fire alarms started going off randomly! I think Anne definitely promised everyone pizza in the moment, which we are still waiting on!Â
Today was our first day completely off from volleyball. I think most of us spent the day running errands and become girls again. Pedicures, manicures, hair colored, and eyebrows waxed!Â
Tonight was the Student-Athlete Welcome Back Dinner where our amazing athletic director, Tom Jurich spoke to all of us athletes! It's always so fun to see all your friends from other teams back on campus and of course taking a lot of pictures! For most of us, it's the first time we have put on makeup and dressed up in a solid two weeks! To top it off, they set up an ice cream bar after dinner! I think every athlete takes advantage of this because it's the only time that they would feed us a dessert!
It was great to see you on Saturday!
