April 14, 2016 | Men's Soccer
Kickoff set for 1 p.m. ET at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Fans will have one final opportunity to catch the Louisville men's soccer team in action for the spring campaign as the Cardinals host Michigan State at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium on Sunday at 1 p.m., ET for the finale. Admission to the match is free.Â
Head coach Ken Lolla and the team will look to continue the momentum from back-to-back road wins over Evansville and ETSU. Â After kicking off the spring campaign with a 1-0 loss and 0-0 draw to professional sides Louisville City FC and Indy Eleven respectively, the Cardinals look to enhance their record, which currently stands at 2-1-1.
"There have been several positive developments for our program this spring," Lolla said. "We've defended well as a group and limited the chances of our opponents and at times, we've been able to get into a rhythm offensively and score goals. Â We're learning a lot about ourselves and look forward to Sunday's match to cap off the spring at Lynn Stadium."
Gates at Lynn Stadium open at noon and free parking is available in the F & G lots at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
