Cardinals continue road play at Florida State
The University of Louisville women's soccer team will  visit the Florida State Seminoles on  Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. Â

ABOUT THE CARDINALS
Louisville is coming off a 3-0 loss at Miami on Thursday night. Â The loss was the first road loss of the season for the Cardinals. Â

Brooklynn Rivers leads the Cardinals with 11 points. Â She has four goals and three assists on the year. Â Gabrielle Vincent enters the game second on the team in points with three goals and two assists, while Jill Vetere and Allison Whitfield each add two goals and three assists on the year.Â

Taylor Bucklin leads the Cardinals in goal with a 7-4-4 record and five shutouts on the season. Â She has a 0.87 goals against average, allowing only 14 goals. Â She also has 62 saves on the year. Â Â Â Â

Head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes is in her 17th season with the Cardinals. She has guided Louisville to four NCAA Tournament appearances, including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2011.
SCOUTING FLORIDA STATE
 Florida State defeated No. 4 Duke 1-0 in overtime on Thursday night.  The Seminoles scored off a header in the 98th minute for their fifth ACC win of the season. Â
The Seminoles (11-2-2, 5-1-2 ACC)Â are led in points by freshman forward Kristen McFarland and sophomore midfielder Megan Connolly at 12. McFarland has five goals and two assists on the season, while Connolly has four goals and four assists on the year. Freshman forward Deyna Castellanos is tied for the lead in goals with five on the year for Florida State as well.Â

 Redshirt-junior goalkeeper Cassie Miller defends the goal for the Seminoles. She has a 0.36 goals against average and has made 34 saves on the year. She has amassed eight shutouts on the year and has only allowed five goals on the season.  Â

 Mark Krikorian is in his 12th year as the Seminoles head coach. He has led the Seminoles to a National Championship in 2014, eight College Cup appearances, three national title game appearances, three ACC regular season titles, and four league championships. He has also kept Florida State ranked in the top 10 of the NSCAA poll for 11 straight seasons.Â

Florida State leads the all time series with Louisville with a 4-0-0 record. They won the last matchup in 2015 at Lynn Stadium with a score of 3-1.
