Hey Cards Fans!
Today was our report day for preseason. We sat in our video room chairs today for 5 hours and listened to 17 people talk to us about 751* different things. Literally. First our athletic trainer, Nicole Lowery, talked to us about the new NCAA policies on concussions. Then, we listened to four different compliance members about financial aid, recruits, outside opportunities, etc. Next, we had talked about the Greek Goddess, Athena. She is the patron of Louisville because of knowledge and power. FINALLY WE GOT OUR GEAR AND GOT TO TRY IT ON!! CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST! It was up to the coaching staff next to lecture us! We got our binders that are our holy grail during season. It has where we need to be, at what time, how we are getting there, and what we need to bring. Anne went over ALL of our team rules, regulations, exceptions, and what we are working for this season. As we move forward, to our 5am check in for breakfast on Monday, we are headed to bed at 7:30pm to get our eight hours of beauty sleep!
