After a record setting performance in the preliminaries, University of Louisville swimmer Kelsi Worrell came back and won the gold medal in the 100-meter butterfly at the Pan American Games in Toronto Thursday night.
Worrell, who won the 100-yard and 200-yard butterfly at NCAAs last spring, shattered a Pan American record in the 100-meter fly this morning in prelims with a 54.03, the third fastest time in the world this year.
