Louisville Travels to Madrid for Generation adidas Trip

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's soccer team embarked Friday on a 10-day trip to Madrid, Spain, as part of the 2015 Generation adidas International Trip.
The players, staff, administrators, alumni and donors will be traveling abroad until March 22 and will experience plenty in their time overseas. The highlights of the trip include staying at the Spanish National Team hotel and training facility, the City of Futbol, attending the Atlético Madrid-Bayer Leverkusen Champion's League match and training at Real Madrid's complex under the supervision of Real Madrid academy coaches.
Other noteworthy events include the Cardinals competing in a match against current La Liga club Rayo Vallecano's U19 team, another match versus RSD Alcalá and attending two other La Liga matches featuring Real Madrid vs. Levante and Atlético Madrid vs. Getafe.
In addition to these events, the Cardinals will take in the sights and sounds of historic cities Madrid, Toledo and Segovia, including tours of Real Madrid's training facility and Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
Following their return home, the Cardinals will resume their spring exhibition schedule on March 29 with a visit to the Columbus Crew. Louisville will also host Akron on April 4, SIU Edwardsville on April 12 and Xavier on April 18.

2015 Louisville Soccer Season Tickets
Season tickets for Louisville's second season at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium are now available. To obtain tickets for the 2015 soccer season, call Dan Cerwinske in the Louisville ticket office at (502) 852-0120 and place your $70 deposit. Ticket prices for the 2015 season will remain the same as the inaugural season and will start as low $45.
Season tickets for 2015 include every home match for both the men's and women's soccer programs. Men's home matches at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium will feature former Big East and American Conference rival Connecticut as well as in-state foe Kentucky. The women's team will once again host matches against the top programs in the ACC highlighted by 2014 College Cup winner Florida State and 21-time national champion North Carolina.
