Men's Soccer Announces 2015 Spring Schedule

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Highlighted by a home match against new USL Pro team Louisville City FC, the University of Louisville men's soccer program released its 2015 spring schedule on Tuesday afternoon.
The Cardinals' five-match exhibition schedule begins with a visit from Louisville City FC at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium on March 8 at 3 p.m., ET. Three weeks later, Louisville will play its only road match of the spring against the Columbus Crew on March 29.
On April 4, Louisville returns home to host Akron at 7 p.m., at Lynn Stadium. The Cardinals will then host SIU Edwardsville, led by newly hired head coach and former Louisville associate head coach Mario Sanchez, on April 12 at 3 p.m., at Cardinal Park. Louisville's spring slate will conclude on April 18 at 3 p.m., when Xavier visits Lynn Stadium.
Advancing to the round of 16 of the NCAA Championship for the fourth time in the last five seasons, the Louisville men's soccer team ended its 2014 season with an 11-8-3 record overall. The Cardinals, seeded 13th nationally entering the tournament, was eliminated in the third round with a 1-0 loss to UMBC at Lynn Stadium. Overall, Louisville advanced to the NCAA Championship for the eighth straight season while also hosting postseason matches for the fifth straight year.

2015 Louisville Soccer Season Tickets
Season tickets for Louisville's second season at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium are now available. To obtain tickets for the 2015 soccer season, call Dan Cerwinske in the Louisville ticket office at (502) 852-0120 and place your $70 deposit. Ticket prices for the 2015 season will remain the same as the inaugural season and will start as low $45.
Season tickets for 2015 include every home match for both the men's and women's soccer programs. Men's home matches at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium will feature former Big East and American Conference rival Connecticut as well as in-state foe Kentucky. The women's team will once again host matches against the top programs in the ACC highlighted by 2014 College Cup winner Florida State and 21-time national champion North Carolina.
