The Cards make their first foray into the Atlantic Coast Conference and will be hosting Boston College (Sept. 26) and Georgia Tech (Sept. 28) in the KFC Yum! Center.

On Sunday the Card's will take the court against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Georgia Tech is 6-6 this season and won both its matches this weekend. They will face Kennesaw State and Duke before arriving to play the Cards on Sunday. Freshman Sydney Wilson had a strong outing last weekend, setting a new team best with 7 kills and five blocks in just 16 swings.
The Cards are coming off a three-match sweep at the Rice Invitational in Houston. The Cards beat Stephen F. Austin, Rice and Texas Southern, all in three. Maya McClendon was named Tournament MVP with Tess Clark and Janelle Jenkins making the All-Tournament Team.
