Hey, it is Sydney on the Volleyblog today!
Today, like every day, was a great day to be a Cardinal! Started off the day with practice in the morning, and finished with practice in the afternoon and an educational session. I was happy that we got to eat at The Ville Grill for lunch and dinner and get to see some students who were starting to move in.
It¹s that time of year, and I couldn¹t be more excited for this fall semester.
Anyways, we were very productive in practice, trying to figure out different lineups and options; everyone was dialed in, because our home opener is just a couple of weeks away! Even though today was a great day, I still am having flashbacks of being out on the lake.
We went to Lake Nolin and I really enjoyed being able to spend time with the girls away from the coaches, sharing funny personal stories, playing games, and eating s'mores. Also, it was Tara¹s birthday, so naturally, we celebrated by wishing her a happy birthday around fire pit. The night was awesome.
Going to the lake was a great opportunity for us to rest our legs and have some fun at the same time! I can¹t wait to progress through the season with this team, it¹s going to be a great year.
