
An Update on Louisville Players in the MLS

Louisville, Ky. - We are one-fourth of the way through the Major League Soccer season and GoCards.com will be giving you bi-weekly updates on how some of your favorite Cardinal players are doing this season. Louisville has six active players in the MLS for the 2013 season. Below is an update on all six former Cardinals.
Austin Berry - Chicago Fire (2-6-1)
The reigning Rookie of the Year has started every game and has played every minute for the Chicago Fire this season. Berry has logged 810 minutes this season with three shots. He dished out the game-winning assist in the Fire's 1-0 win over the Columbus Crew on April 20. The Fire are currently in eighth place of the Eastern Conference standings.

Greg Cochrane - LA Galaxy (4-3-2)
Cochrane earned his first start with the LA Galaxy on April 13 after being drafted in the second round of the 2013 MLS Super Draft. The Louisville product has started in three straight games since April 27 and played all 90 minutes for the Galaxy in his four starts. He has logged 382 minutes his five games. The Galaxy has gone 2-3 since Cochrane cracked the lineup. They are currently in fifth place of the Western Conference standings.

Nick DeLeon - DC United (1-8-1)
DeLeon missed four games in April with a hamstring injury. He made his return to the lineup as a sub on May 8 and played 19 minutes in the loss to the Houston Dynamo. DeLeon started in DC's game against FC Dallas. The Louisville product dished out the assist for the equalizing goal, but DC fell 2-1 to Dallas. Prior to his injury, DeLeon has started every game. He has logged 365 minutes with four shots and one assist this season. D.C. United is currently in 10th place of the Eastern Conference standings.

Andrew Farrell - New England Revolution (2-4-4)
The first pick of the 2013 MLS Super Draft has started and played in nine of the Revolution's 10 game this season. Farrell has played in every minute of those nine games, logging 810 minutes. Farrell registered shots against the Chicago Fire and the New York Bulls this season. The Revolution are curentl in seventh place of the Eastern Conference standings.

Aaron Horton - Columbus Crew (3-4-3)
Horton has yet to make his 2013 season debut for the Columbus Crew. Horton had surgery on his left knee to repair a torn left lateral meniscus at the end of March. He has begun rehabilitation and was expected to be out two to four weeks. He was signed as the Crew's first-ever homegrown player on May 17, 2011. The Crew are currently in sixth place of the Eastern Conference standings.

Kenney Walker - LA Galaxy (4-3-2)
Walker has yet to make his 2013 season debut. He had foot surgery in the off season and is still recovering. The Louisville product was selected by the Galaxy with the 38th pick in the 2012 MLS Super Draft. The Galaxy are currently in fifth place of the Western Conference standings.
