"It's a special night when we can recognize cancer survivors and honor the loved ones we've lost to the disease. It was especially fun to have three parents from our program participate in the first pitch ceremony. This night about educating the community and the players in our program about the dangers of cancer the ways it impacts so many lives. I know it was also special for my wife Julie to promote her Home Runs for Hope program."
