
Women's Tennis Set to Face Toledo

The University of Louisville women's tennis team will host visiting Toledo this Saturday, Feb. 25 before hitting the road to face Miami of Ohio as part of a four-game road trip. The match is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
The Cardinals (4-5) head into this Saturday's match coming off a 4-3 home loss versus 64th ranked Ohio State. The Cards were swept in doubles competition and the Buckeyes picked up three wins in singles competition to clinch the match. The Cards got three wins in singles competition from Julia Fellerhoff at No. 1 singles, Manuela Velasquez at No. 4 singles, and Sarah Miller at No. 6 singles.
Toledo enters this weekend's match with a 2-4 record, having lost their previous match at Cleveland State 4-3. In doubles competition Toledo got victories from Kelsey Anonsen and Lexy Pitt at No. 1 doubles. In singles competition the Rockets earned wins from Anonsen at No. 1 singles, Chrissy Coffman at No. 3 singles, and Pitt at No. 4 singles. This will be the fourth-consecutive road match for the Rockets.
