Joao De Lucca Named BIG EAST Swimmer of the Week

University of Louisville sophomore Joao De Lucca has been selected BIG EAST Men's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week.
De Lucca recorded three top finishes, including two individual wins while helping the Cardinals to victories over Cincinnati and Eastern Michigan in a double dual meet on Jan. 14. He posted a time of 20.61 to win the 50-yard freestyle and captured a victory in the 100 free with a time of 44.66. De Lucca also anchored the winning 200 free relay team, posting a time of 20.01 for his leg and 1:22.17 overall.
