Louisville, Ky. - The second ranked Louisville men's soccer team will face the IUPUI Jaguars tomorrow night in Cardinal Park at 5:00 p.m. The Cardinals (2-1-0) are coming off a 2-1 loss from North Carolina on Sunday evening. The Jaguars (1-2-1) will be looking for victory after a 2-2 tie against Kentucky last Sunday.
Louisville dropped to No. 2 in the Soccer America and College Soccer News poll and fell to No. 5 in the Soccer Times and Top Drawer Soccer poll and was ranked as low as No. 7 in the adidas/NSCAA poll after the loss to North Carolina. Kentucky evened the score late in the 85th minute, eventually forcing the draw after two overtime periods. Agaba was named Summit League Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts. Defensively, senior goalkeeper Tyler Keever has a 1.25 goals against average and 15 saves in four matches.
Louisville leads the series 5-2 against IUPUI, including three consecutive wins. Louisville defeated the Jaguars 2-0 in the last meeting during the 2009 season. Louisville is 3-0 all-time against IUPUI at home.
