
Tony Jouaux Hired as Chicago Fire Strength and Conditioning Coach

Louisville, Ky. - Tony Jouaux, a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Louisville, has been hired as a strength and conditioning coach by the Chicago Fire of the MLS.
While at Louisville, Jouaux worked with the men's and women's soccer teams and field hockey team. He worked closely with the men's soccer team as they advanced all the way to the NCAA Championship game this fall.
Jouaux, native of France, is completing his Master's degree in Exercise Physiology with a concentration in strength and conditioning. His research at Louisville focused on energy systems development and heart rate training.
In 2007, he received his Bachelor's degree in Sport Training and Sport Management at the University of Burgundy in Dijon, France. That same year, he also received his soccer coaching license.
Jouaux also played with the Louisville Lightning of the Professional Indoor Soccer League for two seasons.
