
Men's Soccer Hosts Ohio State on Wednesday Evening

Louisville, Ky. - The eighth ranked Louisville men's soccer team will host the No. 23 Ohio State Buckeyes Wednesday evening in Cardinal Park at 7:00 p.m.
Louisville enters the match with a 4-0-1 overall record and a four game winning streak. The Cardinals are coming off a 2-1 victory over the Missouri State Bears on Saturday. Junior Nick DeLeon scored his second goal and first game-winner as a Cardinal in the second half. Louisville is led by All-American forward Colin Rolfe with two goals and two assists for six points on the season. Junior keeper Andre Boudreaux owns a 0.38 goals against average, allowing only two goals in five games with three shutouts.
Ohio State enters the match with a 4-2-0 overall record. The Buckeyes are coming off their second straight loss of the season against Florida Gulf Coast after starting the season with four straight wins. The Buckeyes are led by senior Konrad Warzycha with four goals for eight points. Sophomore keeper Matt Lampson owns a 0.67 goals against average, with 24 saves and three shutouts.
Ohio State leads the series 4-7-2 over the Cardinals. In the last meeting on Nov. 28, 2007 the Buckeyes escaped with a 1-0 victory. The last time the Cardinals and Buckeyes met at Cardinal Park, the match was played to a 1-1 double overtime draw on Oct. 31, 2007.
