Colin Rolfe Earns Preseason Honors

Louisville, Ky. - Louisville forward Colin Rolfe was named to the Hermann Trophy Watch List. Rolfe is one of 41 players to be named to the list. Rolfe was also named a preseason first team All-American by College Soccer News. Rolfe was the only BIG EAST player listed on the first team and one of two league players listed on the three teams.
Rolfe led the team in scoring last season with 22 points, scoring 10 goals and dishing out two assists. He also scored four game-winning goals for the Cardinals. He was named a first team All- BIG EAST selection and a first team NSCAA All-American. Rolfe was also named a Hermann Trophy Semifinalist.
The junior ranked second in the BIG EAST in goals scored, points and game-winning goals as a sophomore. He led the BIG EAST in goals scored per game with 0.50. Rolfe finished the season with 54 shots, including 25 on goal.
