Colin Rolfe Recognized at the U of L Student Awards

Louisville, Ky. - Louisville sophomore standout Colin Rolfe was recognized as one of the athletes of the year at the 11th Annual U of L Student Awards Banquet. Rolfe was one of six Cardinal athletes recognized for the evening.
Rolfe had an outstanding sophomore season for the Cardinals. He became the first Cardinal to earn NSCAA first team All-American honors and was also named a third team All-American by College Soccer News. Rolfe was also a semifinalist for the prestigious Hermann Trophy Award. He finished the year leading the team in scoring with 10 goals and two assists for 22 points.
The sophomore also led the team with four game-winning goals. He was a unanimous first team All-BIG EAST selection. He was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week after scoring two goals in the Cards' 4-0 win over Indiana. He was also named to the Soccer America Team of the Week. He was recently named to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Year.
