
Men's Soccer Starts Spring Schedule on Sunday

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's soccer team will begin the spring season on Sunday in Bloomington and will wrap up the five game schedule against the Columbus Crew on April 17. The Cardinals are coming off their best season in school history, winning the BIG EAST Red Division title and advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season.
The Cardinals finished the fall with a 13-3-4 record and an 8-2-1 record in the BIG EAST conference. Five of the Cards' top scorers from the fall will return next season, led by sophomore Colin Rolfe with 10 goals and two assists.
Louisville will kick off the spring season where they left off against Indiana on Sunday, March 28 at Noon. The Cardinals will host two home games in Cardinal Park this spring. On Saturday, April 3 the Cardinals will host Michigan at 2:00 p.m. and on April 13 they will host Lindsey Wilson at 8:00 p.m. The Cards will also travel to Bradley on Saturday April 10 before wrapping up the spring season at the Columbus Crew on April 17.
