Louisville, Ky. - The No. 17/20 Louisville men's soccer team will wrap up a three game road stint at DePaul on Saturday, Oct. 3. The match is scheduled to kick off at 2:00 p.m. EST at Wish Field in Chicago.
The Cardinals enter the match with an overall record of 5-1-2 and a BIG EAST record of 2-1-1. Senior Freddie Braun leads the Cardinals with four goals and two assists for 10 points. Junior Mark Knight is second on the team with three goals and one assist for seven points. Sophomore Andre Boudreaux leads the Cardinals in goal with a 0.83 goals against average and 17 saves. He and the Cardinal defense have five shutouts on the year.
DePaul enters the game with an overall record of 5-4-0 and a league record of 2-2-0. Steffan Vroom leads the Blue Demons in points with nine followed by Antonio Aguilar with eight. Mark Plotkin is the assists leader with three and Nana Mintah is second with two. Joe Ferrari leads the Blue Demons in goal with 1.33 goals against average and 23 saves.
Louisville leads the overall series with DePaul 10-7-1. However, the Cardinals have not won in Chicago since Oct. 12, 1997 with a 1-0 win.
