
Men's Soccer Hosts Lipscomb Thursday Evening in Cardinal Park

Louisville, Ky. - The No. 20 Louisville men's soccer team will be hosting Lipscomb on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in Cardinal Park. The Cardinals enter the game with a 3-0-1 record after winning the TLC Plumbing and Utility Invitational in Albuquerque last weekend.
Sophomore Bryan Kanu leads the Cardinals in scoring with two goals for four points so far this season. Freshman keeper Andre Boudreaux leads the defense with a .46 goals against average this season. This past week he earned BIG EAST Rookie of the Week honors after finishing the week with a .32 goals against average.
The Cardinals are currently ranked No. 20 in the Soccer America Poll, for their highest ranking in school history. Louisville is also ranked No. 23 in the Soccer Times Coaches Poll and No. 21 in the College Soccer News Poll.
Lipscomb enters the game with a 1-3-0 record. Miguel DaSilva leads the Bisons in scoring with three goals for six points. Patrick Walsh starts in goal for the Bisons and owns a 2.00 goals against average.
The game will air at noon Saturday on WHAS-11.
