LOUISVILLE, Ky. - If fans thought following the University of Louisville baseball team last season was fun, now they will have the opportunity to be an integral part of the excitement and become the next stadium voice at Jim Patterson Stadium, as the Cardinals will be holding auditions for a new public address announcer.
The P.A. announcer is responsible for team and player introductions, as well as pregame and in-game marketing and promotions as arranged by the UofL marketing department, and must be willing to work all home games.
Those interested will need to submit a resume with an MP3 or demo CD that is fewer than two minutes in length, simulating in-game announcements. The deadline for submissions is Thursday, January 31.
Finalists will then be selected and invited to live auditions that will begin at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Feb 3, at Patterson Stadium. You will receive a call from the U of L Marketing Office if you have made the final tryout. Any questions can be directed to Ashleigh Campen at 852-0675 or ashleigh.campen@louisville.edu.
Resumes and cd's can be sent to:
