Vali Preda Places 15th in 100-breast in NCAAs

University of Louisville swimmer Vali Preda qualified 15th in the 100-breaststroke in his first swim at the 2006 NCAA Swimming Championships in Atlanta, Ga. The freshman will swim in the consolations this evening.
"This was a great first swim for our freshman and for our program," said U of L coach Arthur Albiero. "This is a very fast meet and he gave a great first effort for a freshman to swim at this level and then get to swim again tonight is great."
