
White and Little Finish First Day of Play in NCAA East Regional Championship

Gainesville, Fla. - The University of Louisville's Adrienne White and Meghan Little finished the first day of competition in the NCAA East Regional ranked among the Top 50 players. The championship was postponed yesterday due to inclement weather, so the teams and players played two rounds today at the University of Florida Golf Course in Gainesville.
Sophomore Adrienne White finished the first round tied at 19th with a score of 73. Senior Meghan Little finished the first round tied at 24th with a score of 74. White held on in the second round and moved up two spots to finish the day tied at 17th. White shot a 74 in the second round to finish the day with a score of 147. Meghan Little shot a 78 in the second round and is currently tied at 42nd with a score of 152.
Virginia's Leah Wigger leads the field after shooting a 67 in the second round with a score of 137. Ohio State leads the NCAA East Regional field with a score of 565 after two rounds. Duke is second with a score of 575 and Furman is third with a score of 582.
The championship will conclude tomorrow with an 8:30 shotgun start.
