
Women's Golf Stands in Sixth Place After First Day of the Papa John's Collegiate

Miami, Fla. - The University of Louisville women's golf team currently stands in sixth place after the first round of the Papa Johns Collegiate at the Don Shula Golf Course in Miami, Fla. on Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals finished the day with a score of 308. Host Miami and East Carolina currently stand in first place with a score of 296 and UNC Wilmington is in third place with a score of 299.
Senior Meghan Little finished the day tied at seventh with a score of 74. Miami's Hagan Weintraub and East Carolina's Emilee Lind lead the field with a first round score of 70. Sophomore Adrienne White is tied at 13th with a score of 75.
Freshman Jenny Calkins finished the day with a 78, tying her at 28th. Junior Elly Leonard and Cristina Gonzalez finished with scores of 81 apiece, tying them for 42nd.
Louisville will be back in action tomorrow morning with an 8:30 shotgun start.
