Rains Postpone Friday Baseball

LOUISVILLE, KY - Due to heavy rains and thunderstorms across the state of Kentucky on Friday night, the baseball game between the University of Louisville and Houston will move to Saturday as part of a doubleheader that will begin at 1:00 p.m. The teams will play a pair of nine-inning games.
The Cardinals(22-26, 9-15) are set to round out the home portion of their schedule with the weekend series with the Cougars(24-25, 15-9).
On Sunday, a class of five seniors will be honored during a pregame ceremony in what is scheduled to be the last baseball game in Cardinal Stadium for Louisville.
The Cards are scheduled to open the 2005 slate in Patterson Field.
First pitch on Sunday is set for 1:00 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
