
Cardinal Baseball Again on WAVG 1450

LOUISVILLE, KY - For the second consecutive season, the University of Louisville baseball team will have all of its home and postseason games broadcast on WAVG 1450 AM in a partnership with Nelligan Sports Marketing.
All broadcasts will also be available via the Internet at www.uoflsports.com, the official home of Cardinal Athletics. All road games will also be available on-line, while Louisville's game against San Diego State on Saturday, February 21st at 4:00 p.m. ET in Los Angeles will also air live on WAVG.
The Jeffersonville, Indiana station will carry every home game this spring, as well as the Cardinals' Conference USA Tournament games and any NCAA postseason games.
Sean Moth will be calling the games for the Cardinals. Moth, who serves as public address announcer for football, volleyball and both basketball teams at Louisville, has also been the radio voice of the Cardinal baseball team for the past two seasons.
Moth spent three years at KIIX 600 AM in Fort Collins, Colorado serving as the play-by-play voice of Colorado State women's basketball and volleyball teams as well as local high school football and basketball. In addition to baseball radio broadcasts at Louisville , Moth also did television play-by-play on U of L men's soccer telecasts last fall.
The Cards open the 2004 season on Wednesday, February 18th at Cal-State Northridge. The San Diego State game will be the first broadcast of the season, and the Cards will return home for a 14 game home stand beginning Wednesday, February 25th against Eastern Kentucky at 3:00 p.m. in Cardinal Stadium, with each game airing live on WAVG 1450.
