
Cann Earns Another All-American Honor

Louisville, Ky. - University of Louisville senior Adrian Cann was named a second team All-American by Soccer Times. Cann was also named a second team All-American by the College Soccer News last month. The Colorado Rapids selected Cann with the 16th overall pick of the 2004 Major League Soccer draft. He is currently at the Rapids' training camp in Westminster, Colo.
Cann became the first Cardinal to be named an All-American. The senior was also named to the second team All-Great Lakes region for the third consecutive season. He was also named Co-Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. He helped the Cardinal defense to seven shutouts on the season. Cann was only player in school history to become a first team All-Conference USA selection for four consecutive seasons.
Cann finished his career with the Cardinals as the most decorated player in school history.
