Rain Postpones Friday Baseball

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - The baseball game between the University of Louisville Cardinals and the Charlotte 49ers on Friday has been postponed due to rain.
The teams will meet for their scheduled nine-innings game on Saturday at noon and two seven-inning games on Sunday, with a morning start time yet to be determined.
The teams are playing at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium, the home of the Kannapolis Intimidators, single A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox in the South Atlantic League who are scheduled to play Friday and Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
Louisville is 22-12 overall and 8-7 in C-USA and will return home after the weekend series Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. to host Kentucky at Slugger Field.
