
Women's Soccer can't scare up a Halloween win

CINCINNATI, OHIO - The University of Louisville women's soccer team couldn't rebound from an early 2-0 deficit in a 3-0 loss to Cincinnati Thursday night. The loss ends the regular season for the Cards(5-12-1, 1-8-1) who have improved it's record in each of the last four seasons.
The Bearcats(12-3-3, 6-1-3) used goals from Amy Mink at 4:46 from Heather Herweh, and Tianna Oliver from Tasha Wagner just a minute and ten seconds later to take a quick lead.
Marie Strelka added a goal in the 40th minute to close the scoring on an assist from Lauren Buland.
Louisville was outshot 15-3 in the match. The Cards' roster features 19 underclassmen.
