Men's Soccer Departs For Canada

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's soccer team departed on a week long tour of Canada this morning. The Cards will play their first match against the Glenshield Sun Devils on Tuesday night.
The 2001 Cardinals feature preseason All-Conference USA team members Jeremy Morales and Adrian Cann. Goalkeeper Morales and back Cann are part of the Cardinal defense that set a school record of 10 shutouts last season.
The tour is a tune-up for the 2001 season which begins with an exhibiton game on Saturday, August 25 against Alabama A&M at 7:30 p.m. in Cardinal Park. Louisville will host Vanderbilt on Sunday, Sept.2 at 7:00 p.m. in Cardinal Park for the home opener.
