UAB Tops Cards 2-1 In Men's Soccer

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of Louisville men's soccer team fell to UAB 2-1 yesterday at West Campus Field. The Cardinals fall to 4-5-1 on the year and 2-3 in Conference USA play.
UAB's Peter Byaruhanga stuck first, scoring off a dribble down the middle at the 63:12 mark. Falvio Monteiro scored the game winning goal off a corner kick from Josh Brinkley at the 64:38 mark. The Cardinals' Stuart Langrish scored off a direct kick at the 75:19 mark. Goalkeeper Jeremy Morales recorded six saves but it was not enough for the Cardinals.
