2011: Started all 24 games on the Cardinals' backline and was key component in team's nine shutout wins. Has started in all 60 games of her collegiate career at Louisville. Named to Dean's List, Red & Black Scholar and Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
2010: Started in all 19 games as a sophomore and has started all 36 games of her career. Had only assist of the season in Cardinals' season-opening win over Eastern Kentucky. Played in the back and finished with only four shots on-goal. Named Dean's Scholar, Red and Black Scholar, Athletic Director's Honor Roll and BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
2009: Started all 17 games as a freshman for the Cardinals. Scored one goal and added two assists for the attack. Had the game-winning goal against Butler on Sept. 20. Finished with 13 shots on goal, which was tied for third most on the team. Named Red and Black Scholar and Athletic Director's Honor Roll. BIG EAST All-Academic selection.
High School: Played four years of soccer for coach Tony DeMoss at Richwoods High School where she was a two-time IHSSCA All-State selection, two-time All Midwest Region, two-time Peoria Journal Star Player of the Year, three-time All-Area, four-time All-Conference and led her team in goals as a sophomore (24 goals), junior (29) and senior (27). Finished with 89 career goals. Named to Illinois State ODP Team from 2003-08. Member of Eclipse Select State Cup champions in 2006 and 2007. Also played for Sporting Futbol (1997-2001), Central Illinois Select (2001-04), Chicago Eclipse (2005-08) and Chicago Fire (2008-09).
Personal: Born on Sept. 5, 1990 in Normal, Ill., to David and Shelly Holtz. Has one older sister, Ashley. Majoring in biology at U of L. Cousin Brandon Holtz played basketball at Illinois State and another cousin, Brent Holtz, played football at Illinois State. After college, she plans to work in the medical field, have a family and a big house. Her parents are the people with the greatest influence on her athletic career because they gave her the opportunity to play. Hobbies and outside interests include shopping, going to movies and hanging out with friends. Favorite movies include Love and Basketball, Sex and the City and Wedding Crashers. Favorite TV shows include Grey's Anatomy and Chelsea Lately. Favorite athletes include Michael Jordan and Michelle Akers. Favorite foods include steak and pizza. Favorite teams are Manchester United and Pittsburgh Steelers. Enjoys listening to lots of music, including Taylor Swift, Akon and Counting Crows.
